Little-known fact about Ubuntu LTS, not all packages are treated the same regarding "Long Terms" updates. It depends mainly from which repository they come.

To have an idea of the provided support time for your installed packages, you can run the command:

  ubuntu-support-status --show-unsupported


Another command with more details:

  ubuntu-support-status --show-all | less
